
We understand that hearing your pet needs surgery can be frightening. We make the process easier for both you and your friend by performing surgery in a place you are both already comfortable – right in our facility! No need to worry about a stranger caring for your animal or getting records transferred. We can take care of you both!

Animal Ark is proud to offer the latest in surgical and anesthetic monitoring technology and training for your pet's surgery. Our surgeons are trained in both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery and offer a variety of options to make sure that your pet gets the best care possible.
What to Expect
Anesthetic Drop Off/Pick Up

Canine and feline patients will need to be fasted the night prior to surgery. We encourage all exotic patient to have unlimited access to food and water prior to surgery.

Anesthetic patients will be dropped off between 7:30am and 8:30am.

An anesthetic team member will give owners a call as soon as their patient is out of recovery to go over discharge notes and set a pick up time. Exotic surgeries are generally done first so that they can get home earlier.
At Home Post-Op Instructions

Detailed anesthetic discharges will be performed over the phone by an anesthetic team member and printed on your receipt.

Patients may be groggy the night after their surgery and may have no interest in eating. Please offer them a high value food to encourage them to eat.

A dedicated team member will call you the next morning to check in and answer any questions or concerns you may have.
